Management system requirements for wireless systems beyond 3G
This paper presents a comprehensive description of various management system requirements for systems beyond 3G, which have been identified as a result of the Software Based Systems activities within the Mobile VCE Core 2 program. Specific requirements for systems beyond 3G are discussed and potential technologies to address them proposed. The analysis has been carried out from network, service and security viewpoints
Management and control of telecommunications service delivery
The present invention relates to a telecommunications service provision manager that is configured to allow access to a plurality of telecommunications services to determine the location of a service and control execution of that service
Managing security within heterogeneous wireless communication systems
As agents are considered as part of a mobile network solution, either to provide advanced services to users or to assist in network management, innovative and flexible architectures must be provided for them to operate within. The Common Agent Location and Execution Environment (CALExE) provides such an environment and has a number of security issues and features that need to be addressed. This paper presents a mapping of a security model into a management system architecture, CALExE, to provide the necessary security features. The proposed frameworks have been developed as a result of the Software Based Systems activities within the Mobile VCE Core 2 program
Role models for service management over heterogeneous wireless communications systems with a common agent location and execution environment (CALEXE)
Describes role models for service management over heterogeneous wireless communications systems with a common agent location and execution environment (CALEXE)
